Washington state, the Evergreen State, offers much more than it’s wildly green scenery. The Cascade Mountains divide the state, creating a warmer desert, dryer climate on one side and wetter, lush climate on the other. Because of the difference in climate, the two sides present two very different experiences.

When to visit:
- Winter: On one side of the state you’ll find rain and gray, on the other you’ll find snow & gray.
- Spring: You might hit rain still, but you’ll get to experience the best of nature (i.e. the tulip festival.)
- Summer: The best time to guarentee blue skies, warm weather and outdoor activities. The east side of the state will get in the 100’s F for temperature.
- Fall: Across the board, this is my favorite time to see any of Washington. The colors are vibrant and breathtaking.
